On September 27, 2025, the Faculty of Linguistics, Vietnamese and Vietnamese Studies organized an academic seminar with the theme "The issue of Chinese in Vietnamese language research". This is one of the practical activities towards the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the University of Letters (1945 - 2025), the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (1995 - 2025) and the 100th anniversary of the birth of scholar Phan Ngoc - the first Head of the Linguistics Group of Hanoi National University.

On September 27, 2025, the 3rd round of the 2025 Vietnamese Proficiency Assessment Test according to the Vietnamese Proficiency Framework for Foreigners of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (USSH) was held safely and seriously.

The training course on teaching Vietnamese for overseas Vietnamese teachers is a program organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) as the professional host.

This is an important part of the 2025 Vietnamese Language Teaching Training Course for Vietnamese Teachers Abroad organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in which the Faculty of Linguistics, Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities is professionally responsible.

The Department of Linguistics, Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Center for Digital Content Design Research, National Kaohsiung University signed a cooperation agreement on applying virtual reality technology in teaching and promoting Vietnamese language and culture abroad on August 22, 2025.

This morning, August 14, 2025, at the headquarters of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the Opening Ceremony of the "Training Course on Teaching Vietnamese for Overseas Vietnamese Teachers" in 2025 took place. The program was jointly organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU and the Vietnam Education Publishing House.
