University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

Within the framework of cooperation between Kyoto Sangyo University (KSU, Japan) and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), three students majoring in Japanese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, participated in a survey on the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program in Mai Phu commune, Ha Tinh province, together with students from Kyoto Sangyo University.

This was the theme of the international scientific conference jointly organized by the Strong Research Group on Vietnamese Politics, Law and Religion, VNU Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Thai Binh University this afternoon, August 15, 2025.

This morning, August 15, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, organized the international scientific conference "From the August Revolution to the New Era of Development: The Foundation, Potential, Position and International Prestige of the Country".

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945-2025), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, is pleased to announce the organization of an International Scientific Conference with the theme: "From the August Revolution to the New Era of Development: The Nation's Foundation, Potential, Position, and International Prestige".

On August 13th, in Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) organized the 7th International Conference on Vietnamese Studies with the theme "Culture, Ethnicity, and Religion in Vietnam in the Context of New Development".

The thematic workshop "Culture, Ethnicity, and Religion in Vietnam in the context of new developments," organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, this morning, August 23, 2025, is part of the 7th International Conference on Vietnamese Studies.

On August 12, 2025, scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) met and worked with Professor Pietro Masina, Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of East Asian Studies (EJEAS).

This was the content presented at the scientific seminar themed "Dong Son Culture in Cao Bang: From New Archaeological Discoveries - Unleashing Historical Values, Fostering a Journey of Happiness for Humanity," organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the People's Committee of Cao Bang Province, on the morning of August 11, 2025, in Cao Bang.

On August 13, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, will host the 7th International Conference on Vietnamese Studies with the theme “Culture, Ethnicity, and Religion in Vietnam in the Context of New Development”. The conference aims to create a forum for connecting scientists, administrators, and social activists from Vietnam and abroad.

Stuck in his hometown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Quang Minh dropped out of his two-year studies in China, retook the university entrance exam, and became the valedictorian of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

During the meeting on June 8, 2025, the two sides discussed numerous opportunities for cooperation in training and research in the field of archival studies.

This was the central theme agreed upon at the working meeting between the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Ho Chi Minh City today, August 6, 2025.

Aiming to build a standardized, high-quality system of textbooks and monographs, contributing to affirming its pioneering and leading role and position in training and scientific research, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has approved a key project on publishing textbooks, monographs, and scientific products of the University.

This year, the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, is honored to have two outstanding students selected to participate. This program aims to encourage research on cultural heritage, strengthen global youth connections, promote intercultural cooperation, and build a sense of responsibility among young people towards the sustainable development of humanity.

With a strong relationship spanning over 20 years, the two universities have had effective collaborative programs in training and research.
