The University of Social Sciences and Humanities visits and works with the National Archives Center II.

During the meeting on June 8, 2025, the two sides discussed numerous opportunities for cooperation in training and research in the field of archival studies.
During a visit to the National Archives Center II in Ho Chi Minh City, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) expressed his gratitude to the Center's leadership for their active support over the years in providing materials to many lecturers, scientists, and postgraduate students, contributing to improving the quality of scientific research and training at the University. In addition, the University leadership expressed their desire for the National Archives Center II to support the University in receiving students for professional internships in archival studies.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a pioneering institution in research and training in archival studies. Over the years, the University has provided a large number of high-quality human resources at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels, and has trained and fostered professional skills for archival staff in many provinces and cities nationwide.
In addition, the school is also very interested in archival resources, especially those from abroad.
During the meeting, Mr. Pham Ngoc Hung (Deputy Director of the National Archives Center II) shared information about archival materials about Vietnam abroad. The Center's representatives expressed their desire for cooperation in exploiting the value and publishing these archival materials. Furthermore, they will collaborate in organizing conferences and seminars to promote the value of archival materials in the cause of national construction and defense in the new context.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and Associate Professor Nguyen Truong Giang (Head of the Department of Anthropology and Religious Studies) presented commemorative gifts to the leaders of the National Archives Center II.
