University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

(People's Representatives Newspaper) In reality, the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities have undergone many changes in recent times, closely following the development of society. Therefore, many new professions have emerged to serve the needs of the public and the market, consistently achieving high admission scores.

On the afternoon of June 4th, 2023, candidates taking the entrance exam for 10th grade at the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities completed their tests.

On June 1st, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, held a meeting and working session with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province on the basis of cooperation in research, preservation, and management of historical and cultural heritage sites in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh.

On June 1, 2023, Times Higher Education (THE) published the results of the THE Impact Rankings 2023, according to which Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) improved its ranking compared to 2022. In 2023, overall, VNU is in the 401-600 group globally, with a strong breakthrough in the Quality Education objective, ranking 70th globally, 5th in Southeast Asia, and 1st in Vietnam.

Providing convenience and rapid access to advanced technology for students and teachers is the overarching principle of the project to extend high-speed wireless network coverage to all VNU-USSH lecture halls.

Sharing experiences in building high-quality human resources, training programs, and digital transformation in university management between two leading universities in social sciences and humanities at opposite ends of the country was the topic discussed at the 2023 Annual Meeting between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (USSH-VNU HCM), held on May 26, 2023.

Excitement and enthusiasm filled the air at the seminar "GenZ Entrepreneurship: To Succeed, Don't Fear Failure," held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) on May 23, 2023, with many practical experiences and renowned speakers in the field of entrepreneurship.

After more than 5 months of launching and implementing the program, 939 students participated in the Student Scientific Research Award with 552 projects, of which 212 projects won awards at the Faculty/Department level.

On May 6, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) organized the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Assessment Exam based on the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners, May 2023 session.

In January 2023, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) continued to recognize one key research center and four strong research groups of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) as strong research groups at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi level. This is a recognition and investment by VNU in the scientific and technological research activities of VNU-USSH - a leading university in training high-quality, highly skilled human resources.

On April 21, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a meeting and working session with a delegation from 49 universities in China.
