Online thematic report "Role, activities and contributions of female elected representatives of Vietnam in the period 2016-2021"

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Vietnam, the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee and other agencies coordinating the research would like to cordially invite you to attend the research report entitled “The role, activities and contributions of female elected representatives in Vietnam in the period 2016-2021”. By using empirical research methods using quantitative and qualitative analysis, the study expects to achieve two goals:

• Assessing the role, activities and contributions of female deputies of the 14th National Assembly and female deputies of the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term;
• Propose some policy and practical recommendations towards gender equality in elected bodies in Vietnam for the period 2021-2026 and towards 2030.
