By using empirical research methods using quantitative and qualitative analysis, the study expects to achieve two goals:

  • Assessing the role, activities and contributions of female deputies of the 14th National Assembly and female deputies of the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term;
  • Propose some policy and practical recommendations towards gender equality in elected bodies in Vietnam for the period 2021-2026 and towards 2030.
