In accordance with Official Letter No. 1276/ĐHQGHN-CT&CTHSSV dated May 7, 2021, from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the intensified implementation of measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic; given the rapid, complex, and unpredictable developments of the disease, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities requests that heads of units continue to implement Official Letter No. 883/XHNV dated April 27, 2021, and the Urgent Notice dated May 3, 2021, from the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, paying particular attention to the following contents:
1. Continue implementing online teaching and learning methods for undergraduate and postgraduate students until further notice; students of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities will follow the announcement of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
2. Heads of units shall, based on the practical conditions of their respective units, permit, encourage, and arrange for officials and employees to hold meetings and perform tasks online at the office or at home as appropriate, but must ensure the progress, quality, and efficiency of work and guarantee safety conditions in epidemic prevention and control.
3. Temporarily suspend conferences, seminars, forums, and other activities involving large gatherings until a more appropriate time. Unit leaders should strengthen their guidance in implementing political and ideological education, as well as promoting ethical conduct and lifestyles among staff, lecturers, students, and postgraduate trainees in the context of epidemic prevention and control and compliance with the law in general; and regularly inspect, supervise, and evaluate this work within their units.
4. The leadership of each unit is responsible for updating daily (before 4:30 PM) the implementation status at their unit, the number of individuals in their unit belonging to the relevant groups (if any), and promptly reporting to the School's Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee (via the Standing Committee at phone number 0982036807 of the Deputy Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department, Pham Huy Cuong, Email:
