Erasmus+ international credit exchange program for graduate students to study at Charles University, Czech Republic

Information about the opportunity to participate in the international credit exchange program for USSH graduate students to study at Charles University, Czech Republic.

According to the cooperation program between the School and the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (Czech Republic) within the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Exchange Program, the summer semester of the 2021-2022 academic year (from February 14, 2022 to June 30, 2022), the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (Czech Republic) will receive 03 graduate students to participate in the international credit exchange program. The scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic and the European Union, including living expenses of 800 euros/month and airfare of 1,500 euros (converted based on the distance between Hanoi and Prague).

Master's students participating in the exchange program will choose to study in English the subjects taught by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (some subjects are limited to international students depending on the bilateral agreements between the respective departments of the two universities). The specific allocation quota is as follows: The Faculty of Political Science nominates a maximum of 02 students (will select 01 student), the Faculty of History (Cultural Studies) and the Faculty of Sociology each nominate a maximum of 02 students (will select 01 student), the Faculty of Psychology nominates a maximum of 02 students (will select 01 student).

Application documents include:

  1. Application form to participate in the program (according to the form).
  2. Academic transcript.
  3. Curriculum Vitae (CV) in English.
  4. Confirmation of English language proficiency level B2 (can use international language certificate or confirmation from foreign language training unit at the school you are studying at).
  5. Passport copy.

The student's application file, along with the recommendation letter from the Faculty (with a list of candidates), should be sent to the Department of Cooperation and Development before October 9, 2021. The school will establish an admissions committee, contact and interview directly to select students for the program.
