Information about opportunities for USSH graduate students to participate in an international credit exchange program at Charles University, Czech Republic.

Under the cooperation program between the University and the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (Czech Republic) within the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Exchange Program, for the summer semester of the 2021-2022 academic year (from February 14, 2022 to June 30, 2022), the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (Czech Republic) will accept 3 postgraduate students to participate in the international credit exchange program. The scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic and the European Union, and includes a living allowance of 800 euros per month and an airfare of 1500 euros (converted based on the distance between Hanoi and Prague).

Graduate students participating in the exchange program will choose to study in English courses taught by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University (some courses have international student limits depending on bilateral agreements between the respective departments of the two universities). The specific allocation is as follows: The Faculty of Political Science nominates a maximum of 2 students (1 will be selected), the Faculty of History (Cultural Studies) and the Faculty of Sociology each nominate a maximum of 2 students (1 will be selected), and the Faculty of Psychology nominates a maximum of 2 students (1 will be selected).

The application dossier includes:

  1. Program application form (template provided).
  2. Academic transcript.
  3. A resume (CV) in English.
  4. Confirmation of English language proficiency at level B2 (international language certificates or confirmation from a language training institution at the school you are attending can be used).
  5. A copy of your passport.

Student application files, along with a letter of recommendation from the Faculty (including a list of applicants), should be submitted to the Cooperation and Development Office before October 9, 2021. The university will establish a selection committee, contact applicants, and conduct direct interviews to select students for the program.
