Based on the results of the first consultative meeting of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee held on February 24, 2011, and document No. 43/CV-HĐND dated March 1, 2011, from the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City People's Council regarding the approval of the proposed nomination of candidates for the Hanoi City People's Council for the 2011-2016 term, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is nominated to run for a position in the City People's Council for the next term.Following the guidance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee of the School's Trade Union organized conferences to gather feedback from voters on the school's candidates for the Hanoi City People's Council. After three conferences attended by members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, heads of units, and leaders of departmental trade unions; Based on the criteria for People's Council representatives, on the afternoon of March 15, 2011, 100% of the voters participating in the conference unanimously nominated Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – as a candidate for the Hanoi City People's Council for the 2011-2016 term.
