On March 8, 2011, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its fifth meeting. The Party Committee discussed and decided on the following matters: I. EVALUATION OF LEADERSHIP RESULTS FOR JANUARY - FEBRUARY 20111. Directing the successful organization of activities to celebrate the 11th National Party Congress, the anniversary of the Party's founding, and the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit. 2. Continuing to direct the evaluation of the implementation of the school's six major work programs (from 2003-2010), developing the school's development direction for the 2011-2015 period, and finalizing the school's development plan from 2010-2015, with a vision to 2020. 3. Directing the successful organization of the end-of-semester I exams for the 2010-2011 academic year and implementing the plan for semester II. Granting graduation to 31 students of the K52 Management Science program one semester ahead of schedule. 4. Directing the evaluation of the school's strategic tasks over the past three months and agreeing on key tasks for the next three months. 5. Directing the organization of the School's Scientific and Training Council meeting. 6. Continue directing the completion of several state-level scientific research projects and the school's 2011 scientific research tasks. Organize scientific conferences: Vietnamese History in the Context of Integration and Globalization: Theoretical Issues and Methodological Approaches; Implementation of Intellectual Property Rights in Vietnam upon Joining the World Trade Organization (WTO). 7. Direct the completion of the 2011 budget plan. 8. Direct the nomination and appointment of the Head of the Faculty of Journalism & Communication for the 2011-2016 term. 9. Consider admitting 8 new party members, granting full membership to 7 probationary party members, and removing one probationary party member from the membership list.II. KEY TASKS FOR MARCH AND APRIL 20111. Directing the restructuring of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication's leadership board for the 2011-2016 term. 2. Implementing and disseminating the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress. Directing the organization of activities commemorating the Victory Day on April 30th and International Labor Day on May 1st. 3. Preparing and organizing the 2011 Party Work Conference (scheduled for April 23rd, 2011). 4. Directing the development of the 2011 undergraduate and postgraduate enrollment plan; adjusting the training program. 5. Directing the implementation of a plan to develop several majors/specializations to meet international standards. 6. Directing the successful organization of the international scientific conference: National Master Khuong Viet and Vietnamese Buddhism in the early era of independence, and preparing for the 2011 student scientific conference. 6. Conduct a workshop on the Contribution of Social Sciences and Humanities to the Construction and Development of the Country; complete the construction plan for several projects. 7. Direct the Youth Union and Student Association to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and in response to the Year of Youth.III.This report summarizes the implementation of six programs to standardize and modernize the school's activities during the period 2003-2010 and outlines the direction for the period 2011-2015.IV.Through the plan to build and develop a number of industries/specializations to meet international standards during the period 2011-2015.V.Through the appointment of the Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication for the term 2011-2016.VI.Through the plan for organizing the 2011 Party work conference: the Party leads the work of building and developing the cadre team.VII.Considering admission, full transfer, and removal of party members.
