Funding for science and technology activities in 2011

With funding from the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS), the Center for Asian Studies Support, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announces funding for science and technology activities in 2011.

Funding recipients

Faculty members currently working at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, holding a PhD or higher degree. They must have led at least one research project at the university level or higher and have published at least five works in their research field (for research project funding).

Funding level and implementation time

1. Project scope: budget not exceeding 100 million VND. Implementation period: 1 to 2 years.
2. Conference/Seminar: not exceeding 60 million VND. The duration depends on the scale and content of the conference/seminar.
3. Publication budget: not exceeding 30 million VND. Publication time: 3 to 12 months.

Funding sector

1. Social Sciences and Humanities.
2. Natural Sciences.
3. Technology: information technology, petrochemical technology, biotechnology, automation and control technology, telecommunications electronics technology, nanomaterials and new materials technology, environmental technology.
