Outstanding achievements of the Student Affairs Department

On the morning of March 14, 2011, the Department of Politics and Student Affairs held a ceremony to receive the Third Class Labor Medal. Many generations of leaders and staff of the Department were present at the ceremony.The Department of Politics and Student Affairs, Hanoi National University, now the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was established under the Decision of the Ministry of Education and Training. After more than two decades of construction and development, the Department of Politics and Student Affairs has performed its functions and duties well, completing all assigned tasks. In particular, from 1995 to present, the Department of Politics and Student Affairs, University of Social Sciences and Humanities has excellently completed all tasks, contributing to enhancing the position of the school in society. With many outstanding achievements, the Department has been awarded the title of Excellent Labor Collective for many consecutive years and received a Certificate of Merit from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister. On November 18, 2010, the President signed a decision to award the Third Class Labor Medal to the Department of Politics and Student Affairs, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, for its outstanding achievements in education and training, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland. In addition, many other achievements of the department have been recognized and rewarded through specific periods such as: the title of Excellent Labor Collective in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009 of Hanoi National University; Certificate of Merit from the Director of Hanoi National University in 2004, 2005, 2008; Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister in 2005... In the coming time, the Department of Politics and Student Affairs will continue to promote political education, effectively coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Student Association in implementing phase 2 of the campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" among students of the whole school. At the same time, well organize political and ideological education activities, effectively implement resolutions.
