Outstanding achievements of the Student Affairs and Student Services Department

On the morning of March 14, 2011, the Department of Politics and Student Affairs held a ceremony to receive the Third-Class Labor Medal. Numerous former and current leaders and staff members of the Department were present at the ceremony.The Department of Political Affairs and Student Services, formerly the University of Hanoi (now the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi), was established by a decision of the Ministry of Education and Training. Over more than two decades of development, the Department of Political Affairs and Student Services has effectively fulfilled its functions and responsibilities, successfully completing all assigned tasks. In particular, from 1995 to the present, the Department of Political Affairs and Student Services of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has excelled in all its tasks, contributing to enhancing the university's standing in society. With many outstanding achievements, the Department has received the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" for many consecutive years and has been awarded Certificates of Merit from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; and Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister. On November 18, 2010, the President of Vietnam signed a Decision awarding the Third-Class Labor Medal to the Political and Student Affairs Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for its outstanding achievements in education and training, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland. In addition, many other achievements of the department have also been recognized and rewarded over specific periods, such as: the title of Excellent Labor Collective in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2009 of Hanoi National University; and Certificates of Merit from the Director of Hanoi National University in 2004, 2005, and 2008. Prime Minister's Commendation in 2005… In the coming period, the Political and Student Affairs Department will continue to promote political education, effectively coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Student Association in implementing phase 2 of the campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" among students throughout the university. At the same time, it will organize political and ideological education activities well, effectively implement resolutions, strengthen cultural and sports activities among students, improve the awarding and disciplinary work, enhance the quality of student dialogue, and promote student counseling…
