On March 17, 2011, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – Rector of the University, along with representatives from the Faculty of International Studies, met and worked with Professor Dr. Laszlo Vass – Rector of the Budapest University of Business and Communication, Hungary.During the meeting, representatives from both sides discussed the cooperation agreement between the two universities: collaborating on a research project comparing the cultural identities of ASEAN and Europe and experiences in international integration; and cooperating in developing a master's program in European Studies. In addition, several other areas of cooperation were also discussed, such as organizing international conferences, exchanging lecturers and students, and establishing a joint research project on the Vietnamese community in Hungary. Budapest University of Business and Communication currently offers 20 programs from bachelor's to master's and doctoral levels, primarily focusing on business, communication, and practical skills.
