In his presentation, Dr. Antony Stokes recalled the history of cooperation between Vietnam and the United Kingdom over the past 40 years and affirmed that this relationship is currently in its best phase of development, especially after the two countries elevated their relationship to a strategic partnership. Besides economic investment projects, the United Kingdom is also one of the major donors to non-commercial activities, education, and social development in Vietnam. The Ambassador assessed that the relationship between the two countries is increasingly developing to a new level, expanding into many different fields with numerous rich, effective, and economically and socially significant programs, projects, and activities. The United Kingdom is committed to being a partner and friend of the country and people of Vietnam for the betterment of both countries.

Ambassador Antony Stokes also mentioned the crucial role of knowledge and the mission of the younger generation in developing the country and leading the vision of the nation and the world.
