Accelerate the completion of sectoral/specialized planning for the period 2015-2020.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Nam (Head of Training Department) presented an overview of the University's departmental/specialization planning implementation up to the present time and offered suggestions for each unit during the implementation process. Representatives from each unit presented their plans and proposed adjustments to suit their actual conditions.

Concluding the meeting, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the efforts of the faculties and departments in completing the structure of majors and specializations according to the approved roadmap. The Vice Rector also acknowledged the frank opinions shared by the units regarding the adjustment of the planning, including the development of some new majors and specializations based on the new orientations and needs of society as well as the capacity of the units.

Based on the discussions at the meeting, the University requests that faculties and departments needing adjustments to their planning submit their official written opinions to the University as soon as possible. For majors and specializations whose implementation deadlines have arrived, progress should be accelerated according to the established schedule. Majors/specializations that are not yet due but meet the necessary conditions can be implemented early. In addition, units should continue to survey societal needs and develop the conditions for opening new majors and specializations that meet student needs and align with the future development direction of the unit and the University.
