VNU gives priority to new students enrolled in 2022 in a number of training fields in engineering and technology, social sciences and economics, law, etc. according to the A+B model with interdisciplinary training coordination, inter-units will study together at the Hoa Lac campus. In the following years, the actual new construction area will be used to increase the training scale at Hoa Lac to reduce overload in Hanoi's inner city.

Director Le Quan emphasized: the complex of buildings HT1, HT2 in zone 4 of the University of Natural Sciences, Dormitory No. 4 is ready to accommodate nearly 4,000 students studying and living in a modern, advanced university environment according to international standards.
The complex of two projects HT1 and HT2 in Zone 4 of the University of Natural Sciences is about to come into operation.
Director Le Quan suggested that heads of units and leaders of related Departments need to coordinate closely with each other to deploy work quickly, effectively and with quality. Do not discuss difficulties, do not discuss backwardness. Regarding the training program, the Board of Directors requested the Training Department to be the focal point to unify the name of the training program but need to rely on the principle of the A+B training model. Related units coordinate with the Training Department to prepare for the 2022 enrollment period. Training programs need to be designed in the direction of liberal education, students can customize their choice of many majors; training programs must also be associated with digital transformation to carry out the 05 target tasks of the school year that VNU has set.
The President of VNU has assigned tasks to relevant units of VNU to be determined to complete the targets of the 6th Party Congress on investment and construction, striving to gradually transfer the management, teaching, learning and research of the units to Hoa Lac from 2022 to 2025. By 2025, the facilities of VNU in Hoa Lac will be completed in phase 1, put into operation to serve training and research for 15,000 students.
| The investment project to build the Vietnam National University in Hoa Lac includes 21 component projects with a scale of about 65,000 students; the land use area is about 1,113.7 hectares, of which the area of the Vietnam National University Hanoi component projects is 887.9 hectares; the area of advanced research facilities is 112.1 hectares; the resettlement area is 113.7 hectares. Regarding project investment implementation, in the third quarter of 2021, many works of the VNU-Hanoi construction investment project in Hoa Lac have had positive changes, the works were urgently constructed and completed according to the capital registration schedule in 2021. The complex of 2 buildings under the University of Natural Sciences Construction Investment Project has entered the stage of completing shared infrastructure, HT1 has been completed with a scale of 15,000m2 of construction floor, HT2 is completing the interior with a scale of 20,000m2 of construction floor. It is expected that by the second quarter of 2022, the entire complex of works will be completed to accommodate 4,000 students. The HT1 building complex is 5 stories high with over 14,000 square meters of floor space, with 3 lecture halls with 120 seats, 18 classrooms divided equally on each floor from 50 to 80 seats, 10 laboratories, and 90 other working rooms. The HT2 building complex is 6 stories high, with over 20,000 square meters of floor space with 2 lecture halls with 120 seats, 4 lecture halls with 80 seats, 22 laboratories, 11 classrooms, and about 100 working rooms with different functions. Both HT1 and HT2 projects are nearly equivalent to the area of the current University of Natural Sciences in Hanoi. |
