Participating in the table tennis tournament.People's TeacherIn the 2008 Education and Times Newspaper competition, the team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, with 5 athletes, competed in 5 events and won 4 medals.

- Bronze medal in the men's team event;

- Bronze medal in the men's advanced singles category (Athlete Nguyen Huy Hoang);

- Bronze medal in the men's doubles advanced category (Athletes Nguyen Hung Vy and Nguyen Huy Hoang);

- Bronze medal in men's doubles under 40 (Athletes Tran Quoc Binh and Nguyen Quoc Anh).

This year's tournament was held from September 26th to October 1st, 2008 at the Hue University Gymnasium, with the participation of 26 teams.
