On the morning of October 24, 2008, the Tourism Newspaper organized an environmental protection campaign launch ceremony at Hanoi Railway Station and a rally and parade with the theme "Act for a green, clean, and beautiful Hanoi - Towards the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long". More than 100 students from the Faculty of Tourism Studies (University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi) participated in distributing leaflets, hanging banners, and cycling in a parade to support this campaign.
