On the morning of October 24, 2008, the Tourism Newspaper organized an environmental protection launching ceremony at Hanoi Railway Station and a rally and parade with the theme "Take action for a green, clean, beautiful Hanoi - Towards 1000 years of Thang Long". More than 100 students from the Faculty of Tourism (University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU) participated in distributing leaflets, hanging slogans and cycling in response to this campaign.
