Speaking at the event, Comrade Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh, President of the School's Trade Union, on behalf of the school's union members, expressed sincere thanks and deep gratitude to the members of the Executive Committee from the 2012-2017 term who are no longer working in the 2017-2022 term.
"The achievements of the School's Trade Union in the past period are the clearest evidence, acknowledging the tireless contributions of our comrades. In the future, although we will no longer be working on the School's Trade Union Executive Committee, with the valuable experience we have gained, the Executive Committee of the School's Trade Union for the 30th term hopes to continue receiving comments and suggestions on Trade Union activities, aiming for a new term with new developments, contributing to the continued building of a strong Trade Union and the development of the School," said Comrade Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh.

On behalf of the Executive Committee members of the Trade Union for the 2012-2017 term, Comrade Dang Xuan Khang, former Chairman of the School's Trade Union, expressed his gratitude to the Party Committee, the School's Board of Directors, and all trade union members and departmental trade unions for their enthusiastic participation and support of the School's Trade Union activities, resulting in a term filled with many successful achievements and special milestones.
Comrade Dang Xuan Khang shared: "To develop the Trade Union, the School's Trade Union needs to find individuals with dedication, vision, and a high sense of responsibility towards the unit and organization. This is because trade union activities are based entirely on voluntarism, offering few benefits while consuming a lot of time and effort from staff and lecturers."

The 2012-2017 term was a period in which the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi), continuously developed and achieved many successes in various aspects and fields of work. The University's Trade Union has become a reliable organization for the teaching staff and employees, a bridge between the University's Party Committee and the teaching staff and employees, and a trusted partner of the professional organization. During the 2012-2017 term, the University's Trade Union consistently achieved the title of "Excellent Strong Trade Union Branch"; received the Comprehensive Emulation Flag from the Vietnam Education Trade Union (2012, 2013), from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (2014), Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training (2015). In 2016, the University's Trade Union was recommended by the Emulation and Commendation Council of Vietnam National University, Hanoi to the President of Vietnam for the First Class Labor Medal. |
