"The Little Black Bowl Girl" is a modern adaptation of the Jeju Island fairy tale "Samgong-bonpoori," incorporating a contemporary, realistic, experimental, imaginative, and modified traditional perspective. The play features the main character, the Little Black Bowl Girl, exploring the positive aspects of life and showcasing the qualities of women. "The Little Black Bowl Girl" was the first play for children and teenagers in Korea and received high praise. The combination of acting and traditional musical instrument performances, and the multiple roles played by one actor, further enhanced the play's appeal to the audience.

The play "The Little Black Bowl Girl" by the BST troupe was first performed in 2003, and by 2004 it had won awards at the 13th Seoul Children's Theatre Awards, including Best Work, Best Script, and Best Performance. Over the past 10 years, the play has been invited to participate in festivals in approximately 12 countries, including Japan, Australia, Romania, Cameroon, Mexico, and has been highly appreciated by audiences worldwide for its artistic value.

The BST Theatre Group was founded in 2002 with the goal of: "using the stage to transform games into plays and dreaming of a world where plays become games." BST comprises a group of professionals working in a collaborative effort between performing arts creation and arts and culture education, bringing the lives of diverse people into theatre.
