The Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi extends New Year greetings to the University.

On the morning of February 8, 2011, Professor Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan - Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi - along with leaders of functional departments of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to congratulate them on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit 2011.At the meeting, the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, affirmed that 2010 was a year of many successes for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, most notably the prestigious awarding of the Ho Chi Minh Order. According to the Director, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities also made three significant impressions last year: Firstly, it was a well-organized credit-based training institution; secondly, 2010 marked the beginning of the internationalization of social sciences and humanities education, with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities moving in the right direction while preserving its humanistic identity; and thirdly, over one-third of the events and many other scientific activities in 2010 were organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, thereby affirming its position, prestige, and brand both domestically and internationally. Entering the new year 2011, Professor Mai Trong Nhuan wished the University of Social Sciences and Humanities continued pioneering efforts in promoting internationalization in the field of social sciences and humanities, and to always be a shining example attracting many foreign students to study there. On behalf of the University's leadership, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh - the Rector - thanked Vietnam National University, Hanoi for its special attention and favor, and wished Vietnam National University, Hanoi many new successes in the new year.
