In early April, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector) had a working trip to Japan at the official invitation of Prof. Yojiro Ishii, Rector of the Graduate School of Comprehensive Cultural Studies, University of Tokyo.
In early April, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector) had a working trip to Japan at the official invitation of Prof. Yojiro Ishii, Rector of the Graduate School of Comprehensive Cultural Studies, University of Tokyo.The University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Graduate School of Cultural Studies signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment and implementation of the Japan Research Support Program on November 18, 2011. After 3 years of implementation, the leaders of the two schools wish to continue to maintain and further promote the good scientific research and training cooperation relationship between the two sides in the coming time. Therefore, within the framework of the working trip, on April 2, 2013 at the University of Tokyo, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh and Prof. Yojiro Ishii signed a document to extend the cooperation activities between the two sides for a period of 2 years from April 1, 2013. Receiving the delegation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and witnessing the signing ceremony, in addition to President Prof. Yojiro Ishii and Vice President Prof. Takane Ito, there were also members of the Executive Committee of the Zensho Program: Prof. Saito Mareshi, Assoc.Prof. Shimizu Takashi, Assoc. Prof. Iwatsuki Junichi. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic support of the Graduate School of General Cultural Studies for the staff, lecturers and students of the School to study and research in Japan and wished to continue to receive this sincere cooperation and support. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh pledged to maintain existing scientific research activities and implement a number of joint research activities between the two schools. Prof. Yojiro Ishii, Rector of the Graduate School of General Cultural Studies, also sincerely thanked the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and expressed his respect, high appreciation and promised to always pay attention to the scientific research and educational cooperation relationship between the two schools that Prof. Dr. Furuta Motoo had contributed to building. In addition to the exchange activities and signing of cooperation with the Graduate School of General Cultural Studies of the University of Tokyo, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh also met and worked with Prof. Dr. Furuta Motoo, President of the Vietnam Research Association in Japan, Prof. Masaya Shiraishi and several other colleagues, visited the Zensho Program Office at the University of Tokyo, visited the lecture halls, library, and conference rooms with very modern equipment that the University of Tokyo is in the process of building and completing.
