The 2013 annual conference of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union Cluster of 5 universities (University of Technology, National Economics University, University of Natural Sciences, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Construction) took place from April 4 to 7, 2013 in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province with the theme: "25 years of the Trade Union Cluster of 5 universities - Looking back and developing".
Standing Conference of the Trade Union of Cluster 5 Schools
The 2013 annual conference of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union Cluster of 5 universities (University of Technology, National Economics University, University of Natural Sciences, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Construction) took place from April 4 to 7, 2013 in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province with the theme: "25 years of the Trade Union Cluster of 5 universities - Looking back and developing".This year's conference was hosted by the University of Science and Technology with the participation of nearly 40 delegates who are members of the Standing Committee and the Women's Union of the School. Also attending were delegates representing the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the 5 Schools. The delegation of our School consisted of 06 members led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Chairman of the School's Union. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Vice Principal, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, attended and spoke at the Conference. With the aim of reviewing the achievements and pointing out the direction of activities in the coming time, the Conference discussed the report of the host School on the history of activities and important results of the Trade Union Cluster of 5 Schools in the past 25 years, while suggesting new directions to bring more efficiency in the future. The Conference also listened to presentations and discussions focusing on important contents such as:
Building a Code of Conduct for University Offices;
The issue of improving the qualifications of female staff and civil servants in universities;
Trade unions in the work of building, training and fostering young staff;
Trade unions in the work of innovation in university education management;
Promoting the role of Trade Unions in credit-based training methods.
Along with attending the Conference, the delegation also visited and worked with the leaders of the University and the Trade Union of Tay Nguyen University, participated in gong exchanges with the Ede ethnic people, visited Dak Lak Museum, and visited Ban Don. The Conference ended successfully and left a deep impression of the legendary Central Highlands land for the delegates attending.
