The principal receives the Argentine ambassador.

On February 8, 2012, the Ambassador of Argentina to Vietnam, Mr. Alberto Jaime Kaminker, visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh, the Rector of the University, received and held a working meeting with the Ambassador.
On February 8, 2012, the Ambassador of Argentina to Vietnam, Mr. Alberto Jaime Kaminker, visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh, the Rector of the University, received and held a working meeting with the Ambassador.During the meeting, the Ambassador and the Rector discussed opportunities for future cooperation between the two sides. In particular, both sides emphasized the need to establish a cooperative relationship between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and universities in Argentina in the field of social sciences. Mr. Alberto Jaime Kaminker stated that Argentina has over 60 universities, therefore the potential for cooperation between the two sides is significant. Professor Nguyen Van Khanh hoped that the Ambassador would act as a bridge to facilitate the establishment of a cooperative relationship between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and universities in Argentina. On the same day, the Rector also met with Mr. Okudaira Jun, Head of the Okazaki Kaheita International Scholarship Fund Office in Tokyo, Japan. During the meeting, leaders from both sides discussed the Okazaki Kaheita Scholarship Fund's scholarship program for Vietnamese students pursuing master's degrees in Japan. The selection process for the Okazaki Kaheita Scholarship Fund is expected to take place at the end of May 2012. Mr. Okudaira Jun stated that the Okazaki Kaheita Foundation has been established for 14 years and has already had 8 Vietnamese students studying in Japan. He hoped the school would nominate 2-3 students to participate in this scholarship examination. The Principal thanked the Foundation for its interest in the school's students and affirmed that the school would soon consider nominating qualified students to participate in the scholarship examination. The Principal also expressed his hope that the Foundation would continue to support the development of the Japanese Studies program at the school.
