On the occasion of the New Year of the Cat 2011, staff and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized an incense offering ceremony at the Temple of Literature and Mia Pagoda, Va Temple (Son Tay, Hanoi) on January 26, 2012, the 4th day of the Lunar New Year.On January 30, 2012, the first working day of the New Year of the Dragon, Prof. Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan - Director of VNU - and leaders of functional departments under VNU visited to wish the University a Happy New Year. On behalf of the University's leaders, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - President of the University - thanked and wished a happy new year to the leaders of VNU, functional departments, and units under VNU. The President reviewed some of the outstanding achievements of the University in 2011 in all activities, especially in 2011 the University was recognized as an excellent labor unit, the Party Committee was recognized as a typical Party Committee. At the same time, the President pointed out some key tasks in 2012.
