Vice Principal Tran Thi Minh Hoa received the Director of Quang Ninh Department of Tourism

The Director of the Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh province has sent a proposal for cooperation with the research team of experts on tourism from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Accordingly, the research team will support and advise the province to develop a project to develop community tourism in Quang Ninh. Based on specific surveys in localities, identifying the potential and strengths of community tourism in Quang Ninh, the team will develop a comprehensive plan for tourism development in the region.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuy emphasized that the province expects scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, with their existing experience and capacity, to propose effective solutions on policy mechanisms for tourism development in Quang Ninh, calling for the participation of businesses in local economic development, contributing to improving people's lives. If the project is successful, this will be a model of cooperation between 3 parties: managers - scientists - businesses in practice.

Vice Principal Tran Thi Minh Hoa expressed her gratitude for the trust of the leaders of the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism in the scientists of the school and proposed a few recommendations so that this cooperation idea can be quickly realized in the near future. Lecturers of the Faculty of Tourism also hope to apply the scientific knowledge of the industry to the development model of the province.

The two sides also initially exchanged their views on the current situation, potential and orientation of community tourism in Quang Ninh. Accordingly, the province has a diversity of resources and tourist sources, so it is not difficult to promote this activity. However, the steps need to be methodical, with careful field surveys, taking into account the characteristics of resources and culture of each locality to create unique tourism products. In addition, it is also necessary to consider the coordination between businesses and local people in tourism development to harmonize the interests of both sides.
