Professor, People's Teacher Phan Dai Doan, born on November 16, 1936, in Dien Quang, Dien Chau, Nghe An; Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Second Class Resistance Medal, Second Class Labor Medal, State Prize for Science and Technology, former Head of the Department of Ancient and Medieval Vietnamese History, Faculty of History, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU, passed away at 7:45 a.m. on August 7, 2019 (July 7, Ky Hoi year); at the age of 84.

The visitation starts from 9:30 to 10:45; the memorial service is from 10:45 to 11:00 on August 10, 2019 (July 10, Ky Hoi year) at Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.
Cremation at Hoan Vu Crematorium, Hanoi, same day.
