- In response to Youth Month launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association.
- Actively participate in emulation campaigns to achieve accomplishments in celebration of the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2009).
- Strengthen the organizational and leadership work of the Youth Union and Student Association branches to continue building an environment for political and ideological education, ethics, and lifestyle for members and students; promote the role of the Youth Union and Student Association in providing all-round support to members and students; continue to strengthen the building and organization of strong Youth Union and Student Association branches, improve the quality of members, and develop Party membership among students; continue to innovate the content and methods of organizing activities to suit the credit-based training model.
1. Traditional educational activities, lifestyle orientation, and Party development among union members, association members, and students.
- Units should proactively organize activities such as visits, exchanges, and learning opportunities based on their specific conditions, with the aim of educating their members and students about the revolutionary traditions of the nation, the traditions of the school, and traditional cultural values.
- The Youth Union Information Office - Student Association of the University, and the Student Volunteer Group of the University's Traditional Room of Social Sciences and Humanities have a specific plan to organize at least one activity to promote and educate about traditions for all union members and association members in the university.
- The editorial board of the Volunteer Newsletter completed and launched the special issue commemorating Youth Month No. 15; the School Youth Union Executive Committee organized one educational tour on traditions for key Youth Union and Student Association officials.
- The Youth Union branches and Student Association branches, and affiliated branches report to the unit's Party Committee and guide the meeting to consider and recommend outstanding Youth Union members for Party membership.
2. Branch union/association activities; school-level seminars/discussions.Content: The responsibilities of Youth Union members, association members, and the Youth Union/Association organization in building a disciplined and civilized school environment.
- Branches and chapters organize regular activities during Youth Month according to the directives of the Youth Union and Student Association of the University: Responsibilities of members and the Youth Union and Student Association organizations with the goal of building a disciplined and civilized school environment.
- The Executive Committee of the Inter-branch Youth Union - Inter-branch Student Association, and the affiliated branch unions - branches are responsible for implementing and directing the implementation, attending, inspecting, and summarizing the content and results of branch union - branch association activities according to the above-mentioned content and submitting reports to the Youth Union - Student Association of the University.
- Each unit selects one model youth union/student association branch, reports the time and location so that other youth union/student associations within the unit can attend for learning purposes, and the Executive Committee of the Youth Union/Student Association of the University can attend for inspection and guidance.
- The activities of the youth union/association must be organized and completed within the first two weeks of Youth Month (before March 15, 2009).
- The Youth Union and Student Association of the University organized a seminar on the role of the Youth Union and Student Association with the above-mentioned content.
3. Activities providing advice and support to union members, association members, and students.
- The Executive Committee of the Student Union/Association, and affiliated branches should proactively develop unit plans aimed at supporting union members, association members, and students in their studies and daily lives, especially emphasizing the effective role of the staff branch in supporting students with scientific research skills towards the Student Scientific Research Conference of the Faculties/Departments and the University level.
- The Student Social Work Team assisted the Hoa Da Group in completing the necessary paperwork, requesting a decision on the establishment and organization of the Launch Ceremony of the Club for Students with Disabilities at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The Professional Committee of the University's Youth Union organized one training course on scientific research support skills for union members, association members, and students.
The University's Student Union organized a career skills counseling class for its final-year members.
- The Youth Union and Student Association of the University, in coordination with the Training Department, organized the competition "Students and the Credit-Based Training Model".
4. Cultural, sports, and volunteer activities contributing to the community.
- Units should proactively develop plans and organize cultural and sports activities to create a cheerful and youthful atmosphere, as well as opportunities for exchange and learning among members within and outside the unit.
Units are encouraged to organize exchange and collaboration activities between inter-branch Youth Union branches and inter-branch Student Association branches.
- The student event organizing group “SEG” is organizing a school-level cooking competition in response to Youth Month and to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th (with a detailed plan).
- The Youth Union and Student Association of the University, in coordination with the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Foreign Languages and the University of Natural Sciences, will organize a camp to celebrate March 26th and a cultural exchange program "Meeting in March" (with a specific plan).
- The Youth Union and Student Association of the University conducted preliminary work and developed the 2009 Summer Volunteer Plan for units to begin implementation. The University Student Association implemented the Plan for the Expanded Aerobic Competition for Students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
5. Participate in activities initiated by the higher-level Youth Union.
In addition to unit-level and school-level activities, based on the implementation plan of the higher-level Youth Union and Student Association, the Executive Committee of the School's Youth Union and Student Association will announce and mobilize members and students from various units to participate.
- 100% of the youth union branches and student associations organized effective activities in accordance with the guidelines of the Youth Union and Student Association of the University.
- Each Student Union/Association branch shall organize at least one activity to provide advice and support on scientific research skills for its members and students.
- Each branch/association shall report to the leadership and hold a meeting to nominate at least one outstanding member for the unit's Party committee to consider for Party membership.
- The Youth Union branches and associations under the University's Youth Union are required to base their plans on the University's Youth Union activity plan, report to the Party Committee, develop their own unit plans, organize implementation, and submit a summary report immediately after the end of Youth Month.
- Each unit will hold a meeting to consider and recommend one collective and two individuals for awards for outstanding achievements during Youth Month.
- The summary report and commendation recommendations must be confirmed by the unit's Party Committee and submitted to the School's Youth Union Office before April 5, 2009.
