Implementing the Resolution of the 6th Conference

In accordance with the plan to disseminate and implement the Resolution of the 6th Conference of the 11th Central Committee, dated April 6, 2013, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a conference to disseminate the Resolution of the 6th Central Committee.Attending the conference were Comrade Phan Dang Long, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University, along with all Party members of the Party Committee and Party members of the National Defense Education Center's Party branch (Vietnam National University, Hanoi). The conference heard Comrade Phan Dang Long present the following five topics: Topic 1: The socio-economic situation in 2012 and forecasts of the context, objectives, tasks, and solutions for 2013. Topic 2: Continuing to reform land policies and laws during the period of comprehensively accelerating the reform process, creating a foundation for Vietnam to basically become a modern industrialized country by 2020. Topic 3: Continuing to restructure, reform, and improve the efficiency of state-owned enterprises. Topic 4: Developing science and technology to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration. Topic 5: Fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration. Comrade Nguyen Van Kim, Deputy Secretary and Standing Member of the Party Committee, presented the Action Program for implementing Resolution No. 6 of the Central Committee of the Hanoi National University Party Committee. Following the Conference on the implementation of Resolution No. 6 of the Central Committee, the Party branches developed plans to implement the Resolution.
