Professor Pham Quang Minh and the General Director of Jaxtina English Center, Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh, signed a training cooperation agreement.

The trainees in the two classes are lecturers from various departments and units within the university. Applying a 6-month training program focusing on four skills, Jaxtina English Center guarantees an output equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.5 for the lecturers. This is part of the Project to Enhance English Proficiency for Lecturers (2018-2020). Accordingly, lecturers in each age group, as stipulated, must achieve English proficiency according to IELTS band scores following a specific roadmap, and the university will open English classes for lecturers to register for.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Professor Pham Quang Minh, the Rector of the University, emphasized: The University is aiming to build a top-quality university and research environment in Vietnam, oriented towards regional and global integration. Foreign languages will be the first key that lecturers must master to develop their expertise. English language learning needs to be standardized according to the international IELTS assessment scale. Therefore, this course is an effort by the University to standardize the foreign language proficiency of its lecturers, and this aspiration can only be achieved when the lecturers commit and are determined to work together with the University and Jaxtina English Center to achieve the course's objectives.
