Launching Ceremony of On-Site Self-Defense Force Training 2019

Attending the Opening Ceremony of the 2019 On-site Self-Defense Force Training, on behalf of the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there was Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Party Committee Secretary, Vice Rector - Political Commissar), on behalf of the leaders of the University of Natural Sciences, there was Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh (Head of Political and Student Affairs Department - Deputy Political Commissar).

The training session took place from July 22 to July 29, 2019 with the participation of 70 Self-Defense comrades from 2 Schools, focusing on basic contents such as: political awareness, team command, techniques, throwing grenades in the right direction, disassembling and assembling AK, CKC guns, shooting live ammunition... The School's Military Command invited the Thanh Xuan District Command to the class to discuss and instruct on the proficient use of 3 positions: lying, kneeling and standing to shoot for AK, CKC guns, first aid bandaging and basic commands, new exercises to improve the spirit and techniques of the on-site Self-Defense force.

The training of the local Self-Defense Force is a key task, organized annually, and is a close coordination and connection between the two Schools of Humanities and Natural Sciences within the Hanoi National University. Vice Principal Nguyen Van Kim emphasized the importance of this activity in maintaining order and security of the two Schools and more broadly the District and City. The local Self-Defense Force is a core force in preserving and protecting the Fatherland against hostile forces, while identifying new developments in detecting, preventing and fighting against reactionary forces. Thereby creating trust and fostering the fighting spirit of each individual and collective of the two Schools.

Soldier Phung Chi Kien, on behalf of the Self-Defense Force soldiers, read the oath.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim hopes that the soldiers will strictly follow the organization's regulations, complete the training programs well, confidently participate and achieve high results in the Sports Festival scheduled to be held in September 2019, as well as the Sports Festival of the Capital Command in October 2019.
