Signed official cooperation with Vietnam Tourism Media Joint Stock Company

The content of the agreement signed between Viet Travel Company and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU focuses on 03 key programs, including cooperation in Training and using human resources in Information Management and Tourism and Travel Services Management; cooperation in Recruitment to create employment conditions for students; cooperation in Communications to accompany students in professional and extracurricular activities.

Accordingly, Viet Tourism Media Company commits to creating the best conditions for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to participate in internships, training, and study tours to learn about the company's operating model to accumulate practical experience, improve skills and professional expertise. At the same time, students of the School will participate in Viet Tourism's seminars to be "inspired" and determine appropriate career orientation.

Viet Tourism also commits to cooperate with the School to organize extracurricular activities to train students' skills such as teamwork skills, independent work, exploring personal limits, connection skills... In addition, through its specific projects, Viet Tourism will support the School in training high-quality human resources by inviting students to participate in practical work for the company's projects, with paid expenses. Through this form of project-based learning, students will quickly develop professional skills and have additional income for themselves.

Regarding recruitment cooperation, Vietnam Tourism will participate in the "Recruitment Day" organized by the School of Social Sciences and Humanities to introduce attractive job opportunities suitable for students' training majors; creating conditions for students with suitable aspirations and abilities to be recruited.

Regarding communication cooperation, Vietnam Tourism will consider accompanying, organizing, and sponsoring specific student activity programs to help them implement effective community projects, creating social value.

At the signing ceremony, Professor and Principal Pham Quang Minh shared: there is still a gap between training and the practical needs of the labor market. To fill this gap, the participation of recruiting enterprises in the training process is increasingly promoted, from the design of training programs to the implementation of training and employment. The school considers cooperation with enterprises a need and a necessary trend to improve the quality of training products. Entrepreneurial spirit, dynamism, openness and international integration are the orientations being fostered at the school.

Mr. Tran Van Long emphasized: human is the most important factor for the development of a business. In addition to the professional knowledge equipped in the school, students need to increase their exposure to practical activities to easily grasp future job opportunities, contributing effectively to the development of the business. Businesses also need to work together with training institutions to help young people develop their own capacity and foster their ideals of life and contribution to the community.

Also at the ceremony, Dr. Do Van Hung - Head of the Faculty of Information and Library and Mr. Pham Van Long signed a contract in principle, in which the company will hire students majoring in Information Management to build digital content for the websites that DulichViet owns.

The company, through the School, wants to award scholarships to the school's top students, the top students of the Faculty of Tourism Studies and the Faculty of Information and Library Science this year.
