Over the years, the Oriental Studies Department of the School has had a close cooperation relationship with Samsung in training Korean for the company's staff. After 6 courses, the number of Samsung employees trained at the School has reached more than 100 people. The course content lasts for 12 weeks and includes 10 consecutive lessons per day according to the comprehensive Korean language curriculum for Vietnamese people. The output standard of the course is equivalent to Topik 4 (maximum level 6). This is the Korean language output standard for non-native speakers.
Sharing at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa expressed her joy at cooperating with a prestigious company like Samsung, and affirmed that the School and the Faculty always strive to improve the qualifications of the teaching staff and the quality of teaching activities. The Faculty of Oriental Studies is currently a prestigious training address nationwide for Korean language and culture, with the majority of teachers being well-trained in Korea.
