At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) introduced the main achievements in training, scientific research and the main research orientations of the University; emphasizing the goal of building a research university and internationalization. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities wishes to promote cooperation with Danish universities through activities such as student and lecturer exchanges and co-organization of international scientific conferences.
Next, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan and Ms. Lene Augusta Jorgrusen signed a memorandum of cooperation on behalf of both sides. This memorandum aims to promote interest in the teaching and research activities of the two universities; enhance understanding of the economic, cultural, environmental and academic benefits gained from cooperation between the two sides. The two sides agreed to carry out the following cooperative activities in the future: searching for educational institutions with suitable and satisfactory quality to support the Bachelor of Social Education program of UCN, through providing practice and internship opportunities for students of both sides; sharing knowledge about education and social work in Vietnam and Denmark, with the aim of building and supporting the knowledge base for the joint Bachelor of Social Education program between UCN and the National Colleges of Education in Hanoi, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City; create conditions for students with bachelor's degrees from the joint program between the two parties to study master's programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; exchange lecturers, graduate students, and scholars to conduct scientific research. The cooperation agreement is valid for 5 years from the date of signing.
