Disseminate and thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the 4th Conference, the 12th Party Central Committee

At the conference, party members listened to comrade Phung Huu Phu, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Party Central Theoretical Council, disseminate and thoroughly understand the Resolution of the 4th Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee. It emphasized two main contents: continuing to build and rectify the Party, preventing degradation in ideology, political ethics, and lifestyle, and continuing to thoroughly understand and implement the study of Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality.

At the beginning of his presentation, Comrade Phung Huu Phu emphasized the importance of the conference to disseminate and thoroughly understand the Party's Resolution for the School's activities: "In some activities of bidding for state-level scientific research topics in the past time, in terms of basic knowledge, the School has demonstrated its position as a strong research training environment, but in terms of practical application, it has revealed more limitations. One of the reasons for this limitation is that we have not fully and systematically updated new information on the Party's guidelines and policies. Therefore, thoroughly understanding and updating new knowledge, helping to correctly perceive and deeply understand the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, is very important."

Comrade Phung Huu Phu said that building and rectifying the Party and preventing ideological, political, moral and lifestyle degradation are issues that are constantly raised.

The founders of the communist organization always warned that the Communist Party, with its revolutionary and scientific qualities, must always be vigilant and prevent three dangers: mistakes in policy; being far from reality, far from the people, falling into bureaucracy and self-degeneration. Therefore, the issue of Party building and rectification is a regular task of the Party.

According to comrade Phung Huu Phu, Uncle Ho was a person who deeply understood this issue. For him, Party rectification work was always given importance, especially at times when the revolution transitioned to a new stage.

History has proven that peace was restored, before entering the socialist reform and building a socialist economy, Uncle Ho also mentioned this issue. Or even in the last work of his life, Uncle Ho also said "The first job after the victory of the resistance war against America to save the country and the reunification of the country was to rectify the Party..

When entering the renovation process, our Party has carried out rectification many times. From the 6th Central Conference of the 8th tenure up to now, every Congress has mentioned the issue of Party rectification. The most recent was the 11th Congress, which also raised the issue: "Some urgent issues on Party rectification at present". But there is still a reality, many resolutions, many policies, many slogans, many campaigns but in reality, the results of Party rectification work have not been much.

Meanwhile, the world, regional and national situations pose many challenges for the Party. "It can be said that never before has the Party had to be highly unified and society had to be highly consensual as it is now," said Comrade Phung Huu Phu.

In that situation, in the 6 key tasks of this term, the Party has clearly stated that the top key task is to build a clean and strong Party. This is partly clearly demonstrated through the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee, Session XII: First, this is the first time the resolution has systematically pointed out and specifically analyzed the signs of degradation and self-evolution in the Party. No resolution has ever made such detailed distinctions about the weaknesses existing in the Party as this resolution. Second, it has put forward guiding viewpoints to focus on fighting degradation in the Party. Third, it has put forward a system of synchronous and strong enough solution groups, including breakthroughs to change the situation. And fourth, this is a highly action-oriented resolution. In accordance with the spirit of saying what you do.

Conference overview

After about two hours of continuous work, Comrade Phung Huu Phu, Deputy Standing Member of the Central Theoretical Council of the Party, helped all Party members of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities gain a lot of updated and useful knowledge about the Resolution of the 4th Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee.
