This morning (February 24), Ms. Ta Bich Loan, in her position as Head of the Department of Radio and Television, had her first discussion with her students on the topic "Blue ocean strategy and entrepreneurial spirit".

In fact, the decision to appoint herTa Bich Loan, Head of VTV6 -Vietnam Televisionconcurrently holds the position of Head of the Department of Radio and Television, Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, effective from July 7, 2016.

Share withVietNamNet, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thu Huong, Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, said that in her concurrent position, Ms. Loan will be fully responsible for professional orientation, department and staff development, consulting on curriculum development, organizing training activities for students, etc.

“We always want to be able to link training with practical needs, between training institutions and employers in line with the trends of the times. Journalist Ta Bich Loan is someone who possesses all the elements of professional capacity, experience and especially pedagogical ability and great enthusiasm. That is why we invited Ms. Loan to this position with the hope of being a bridge between training and career guidance for young people,” said Ms. Huong.

Sharing with VietNamNet, journalist Ta Bich Loan said she was quite surprised to receive an invitation from the school principal.

“The pressure will be much heavier, but having been given the opportunity by the State to study, train and then work at the National Television Station, I also want to be able to share and do something to help students. I accepted the concurrent position because I thought I could contribute in some way, not seeing it as a position or a place to sit and manage. What I want to focus on is organizing activities for students and orienting the department,” said journalist Ta Bich Loan.

Ms. Loan hopes to "be able to learn and gain more energy from young people with lots of enthusiasm, desire and new ideas."
