The campus was bustling on the first day of welcoming new students.

The waiting area for parents and family members is quite spacious, clean, and pleasant.

The new students lined up in an orderly manner to complete the enrollment procedures.

The presence of the volunteers in their blue shirts created a sense of familiarity and closeness for the new students.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Luong (Phu Tho) brought her daughter, Vu Thi Trung Anh, to school for enrollment.Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu LuongSharing: Today, I saw a large number of parents bringing their children to school. The parents were warmly welcomed by the student volunteers. New students were guided on how to organize their documents and were thoughtfully welcomed into their respective departments. The student reception process was quick and efficient. The instructions for enrollment procedures were very clear, saving time for both parents and students.

Vu Thi Trung Anh(Phu Tho), new student in the majorPolitical Science (scored 83.5 points in the aptitude test)(In black shirt) shares the reason for choosing this field of study: Politics is an essential and important field that governs other areas of activity in every society and every nation. I believe that Political Science plays a crucial role in society. That is why I want to become a student of the Political Science Department at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. I have researched information about the University online and especially through recommendations from former students. This is a university with a rich tradition and a long history of achievements, with a team of excellent and dynamic teachers. I am proud and happy to become a student of the University.

Vu Thi Trung Anh and her mother had the opportunity to meet and chat with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (far right) and Dr. Tran Bach Hieu - Secretary of the University's Youth Union (far left) on the enrollment day.

Nguyen Thi Linh Trang (K58 Psychology student), a counselor participating in welcoming new students (on the left).share: My task today is to welcome and assist the families and new students during the enrollment process. I provide information about accommodation, majors, career guidance, and introduce the clubs of the Youth Union and the Student Association to the new students. Before undertaking today's task, my colleagues and I received specific training from the Training Department and the Political and Student Affairs Department on the necessary duties. We were given lists of accommodation options, club information, and majors for reference. Since this morning, most parents have asked us about nearby accommodation addresses. The students are mainly interested in majors and job opportunities. Seeing the new students with their shyness and bewilderment, I feel like I'm seeing myself four years ago. They are young and very lovely. I've had several years of experience participating in welcoming freshmen, and every year I find this day very enjoyable and full of emotions.

Nguyen Hoang Oanh (K59 Office Management), consultant (on the right):I found the atmosphere at today's enrollment very cheerful. Although it didn't start until 8:00 AM, parents and their children were already present in the schoolyard as early as 7:00 AM. I noticed that the school had thoughtfully arranged the area for parents, with clean and nice tables and chairs, and even a sunshade, so everyone could wait comfortably. When participating in this task, I made sure to always maintain a cheerful and enthusiastic attitude to make a good impression on the new students. Always keeping a smile on my face and being friendly – I hope these small things will help the new students feel less apprehensive.

Many new students have rated the enrollment process as quick, simple, and convenient.

The faces of the new students clearly showed joy and relaxation.

Pham Thi Kim Dung (Hai Duong), a new student in Oriental Studies (scoring 114 points in the aptitude test) (sitting in the middle):I enjoy reading and learning about the culture and history of Eastern countries, especially Japan. This is a very interesting and fascinating field. That's why I chose Oriental Studies. I hope to get a scholarship so I can study abroad. Initially, when I arrived here, I was a little worried because I wasn't used to doing everything on my own. But my worries quickly disappeared because the teachers are always smiling, friendly, and dedicated. As soon as I officially became a student at the university, one of the first things I did was find out about my fellow students in the same major, and then about the activities of the student clubs at the university.

Tue Minh (Hanoi), a freshman in Public Relations (scored 98 points in the competency assessment):I love Public Relations because I enjoy event organizing. After hearing from senior students about the university's reputation and quality of education, I decided to choose it as my place of study. Today, upon entering the university, my first impression was that it's quite large, spacious, clean, and beautiful. Everything felt new. I was guided through the enrollment process smoothly and quickly. Once officially a student, I will definitely take the time to explore the university, learn about it, and get to know new friends. I will also ask senior students for advice on university studies, because I know that university learning is different from high school. I will certainly need to be more independent and proactive in planning my studies and clearly defining my goals for the next four years of university.

Ngo Thi Dan Xuan (Quang Ninh), a new student majoring in Public Relations (wearing a blue shirt):Starting in 10th grade, I dreamed of studying Journalism. But in 12th grade, I read a book called "Which Major is Right for You, Which is Right for Me?". The book guided me on how to take a personality test to determine which job suited me best. I realized I was better suited to Public Relations. This is also a new field, giving me the opportunity to meet and communicate with people, and to develop dynamism in both work and life. The reason I chose to study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is because I was very impressed with the activities of the university's student community shared on the website and social media. My feelings today are that there are quite a lot of students enrolling, so I feel happy and even touched. The campus is so beautiful, especially with its many green trees, giving it a classic and approachable feel. I plan to join student media clubs at the university to cultivate my sociability and openness. I will also study English well so that I can be more successful in my future career.

Dao Thi Thuy Linh (Hanoi), a new student in Journalism (scoring 99.5 points in the aptitude test) (on the left):I chose Journalism because I want to travel to many places, meet many people, and tell interesting stories that reflect the beauty of life. I find the students at our university very dynamic and involved in many meaningful extracurricular activities. I often check out the Humanities Confession page on Facebook. I know the university was established a long time ago and is very famous. The campus is quite large, the scenery is lovely, and the students are very friendly. Everything is wonderful for me right now. My career aspiration is to become a TV presenter or editor in the future.

Le Anh Minh (Hanoi), a freshman in the Management Science program (wearing a white shirt):I've researched online and found that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the best universities in Hanoi. The Faculty of Management Science offers both high-quality and standard programs, giving me more options for a better learning environment. I also want to enroll in a double degree program at the University so I can receive a Bachelor's degree in Management Science and another major after graduation. I'll look into clubs like football and photography at the University and make friends with other students. I'll also consider a part-time job to gain more experience during my student life.

Dang Gia Bach (Hanoi), a freshman in the Management Science program (wearing a blue shirt):I think the Management Science major offers great career advancement opportunities and suits my interests. Later, I could become a manager of a restaurant or a company, for example. I find the campus quite beautiful and everyone seems friendly.

Nguyen Duy Manh, a freshman in Political Science (scoring 88 points on the aptitude test):I found the atmosphere today very lively. After completing the enrollment procedures, we introduced ourselves to everyone. I even sang a song for my teachers and friends. I will try my best to study well and participate fully and seriously in all school activities. I heard that the school has many interesting activities for students, both in academics and in arts, sports, etc. I will definitely participate enthusiastically in these activities.

The Student Counseling and Support Team reached out to new students early on their first day of enrollment.

The new students had a joyful time taking commemorative photos at the backdrop in the schoolyard.
