Following the implementation of the teaching activity plan in the villages, the volunteer student team of the Faculty of Literature began teaching teenagers in Hien Ninh commune (Soc Son - Hanoi) from July 20, 2011.The entire team is divided into three groups teaching in three clusters: Hien Luong – Nam Khuong – Market Area; Ninh Mon – Tan Trung Chua; and Yen Ninh – Tan Thai. The volunteer team's classes are held at the village cultural centers, primarily teaching English, Math, and Literature to students from grades 6 to 9. Although they have only recently started, the number of students is steadily increasing. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nga (Literature K55) stated that as of July 21st, there were 21 students in grade 8 in Yen Ninh village. Due to the large number of students, the volunteer team has to work continuously. In the Yen Ninh – Tan Thai cluster, led by Nguyen Thi Thu Trang (Literature Education K53), the volunteers have to work two shifts in one morning. Being "village teachers" for the first time was quite daunting and challenging, but the overall feeling of the team is "tired but happy."
