This program combines two major volunteer campaigns: Blood Donation and Green Humanity. In the spirit of "Bringing sunshine, giving love," this is a celebration for volunteers, a day of love, a day of compassionate blood donation.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan - President of the Student Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hue - representative of the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, along with a large number of volunteers. At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan delivered a valuable speech: “Voluntary blood donation is a deeply meaningful humanitarian activity, a tradition of the university's youth. Today, I am very happy to be part of the atmosphere of the “Humanities Pink Sunshine” event. I hope our event will achieve great success and that these warm “drops of red” will bring happiness to patients. On behalf of the university, I would like to declare the Humanities Pink Sunshine event officially open.”

Immediately after the opening ceremony concluded, the first units of blood were received. Besides the enthusiastic support from the humanities students, the program also received enthusiastic participation and support from students outside the university. All aspects were meticulously prepared, from the registration desk and pre- and post-donation care to the post-donation care area. Just over an hour after the opening, more than 100 people had successfully donated blood. Each person on the donation bed displayed a different emotion, but no one could hide their pride in having given away such meaningful blood. Their bright smiles made the atmosphere of the blood donation day even more exciting. Phap Le, the team leader of the Volunteer Team and a blood donor, expressed: “This is truly a meaningful program. Thinking about how those drops of blood can help sick people makes me incredibly happy. I hope the program will attract more young people to participate so that this very humane model can be expanded to the community.”

Fourteen blood donation beds were in continuous operation. The volunteers were highly focused and worked with all their energy. Despite the hard work, they always smiled brightly, seemingly forgetting everything else to wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to the task. Handshakes and words of encouragement helped the blood donors feel somewhat reassured and forget their fear of the needle. The program moved quickly and dynamically. All the students, both from within and outside the school, along with the volunteers, worked wholeheartedly in the rhythm of this meaningful blood donation day. This was truly a festival of compassionate people, a festival where everyone came together to "Bring sunshine and give love."
