At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the history of training and research of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as a leading address for training in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is promoting its international position by promoting international publishing activities, teaching international programs and expanding international cooperation with foreign partners. The Vice President proposed to implement cooperation between Baruch University by suggesting some directions of activities between the two schools such as implementing joint research topics, exchanging lecturers and students.

Prof. Jeffrey Marc Peck said that this was his second visit to Vietnam. He accepted the proposal of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh and said that Baruch College wanted to learn more about the activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. In particular, he proposed student exchanges between the two sides as an activity to promote cooperation. In addition, he hoped that the two schools would conduct joint research on historical and public administration issues, such as public policy, civil society, demography, Southeast Asian and Vietnamese history, history of the war in Vietnam, etc.
In response, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh said that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is ready to welcome American students to study and conduct research at the University through short-term courses in English, learning Vietnamese and visiting Vietnamese society, as well as sending lecturers from the University to conduct the above-mentioned joint research. At the same time, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh also signed a cooperation agreement with Professor Jeffrey Marc Peck to create a premise for future cooperation between the two sides.

The academy organizes undergraduate and graduate training in majors such as Marketing, Real Estate, Statistics, Taxation, Political Science, Psychology, Business, Journalism, Information Systems, etc. Courses are taught through 3 schools: School of Public Affairs, Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, Zicklin School of Business.
