The 3rd Party Congress of the Headquarters Block was a great success.

Party Cell III of the School Board is a special Party Cell. In addition to organizing and directing the implementation of Party Cell activities according to the functions and tasks like other Party Cells, it also has to perform the task of advising and assisting the Party Committee and the School Board of Directors on professional matters related to the Party Cell's responsibility.

During the last term, although the Party Cell had many changes in the leadership structure of the Organization and Personnel Department, the Inspection and Legal Department, and the Department in charge of National Defense and Security, all work was still ensured and achieved many important results.

Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Party Cell has directed the Personnel Organization Department to advise and deploy the task of building an organizational structure operating in the direction of a research university, in accordance with the development strategy of the School in particular and VNU in general.

Along with reviewing and promoting research centers to operate more effectively after restructuring, the Personnel Organization Department is gradually building a mechanism to reduce isolation in the performance of tasks of the centers, and promote coordination between research centers and training units.

The Department has applied many solutions to encourage graduate students and doctoral students to speed up the completion of their theses and dissertations; opened English classes with the participation of foreign teachers, contributing to increasing the rate of lecturers with doctoral qualifications and the English proficiency of staff in the school.

The Party Cell has led the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to maintain cooperative relationships with traditional partners, and expand with high-ranking partners in the world, bringing the total number of cooperation documents of the School to nearly 200 partners.

Invited more than 70 foreign experts to teach and research. Exploited more than 700 scholarships and sent more than 400 officials and 250 students to study, teach, and exchange cooperation at advanced universities in the world. Received and safely welcomed more than 150 international delegations (including 2 high-ranking delegations from China and East Timor).

Advise the School to coordinate with partners to open 02 more Vietnamese Research Centers abroad; coordinate with 7 Chinese partners and 5 Vietnamese partners to establish the Association of Universities in the Red River Basin.

The number of foreign students studying Vietnamese language and Vietnamese studies at universities in the US, Korea, China and Japan is about 2,000 students. 2+2 training programs with Chinese partners ensure the right commitment to output quality.

Develop programs that meet international standards such as Master of Communication Management (with UK), Master of Public Policy and Business Management, Master of Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology (with France).

The Party Committee Office helps the Party Committee organize and seriously implement the review of Party members in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee; directs units to effectively plan the team of leaders and managers; effectively carry out Party affairs, open Party awareness training classes for outstanding masses (cadres and students); coordinate and guide units to effectively recruit new Party members and carry out Party discipline and reward work.

Legal inspection work is a traditional strong area of ​​work of the School. Under the direction of the Party Committee and with the high sense of responsibility of the Party members in the Legal Inspection Department, this work is maintained in an orderly manner and further promoted.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Van Khanh, Party Secretary and Principal of the School, highly appreciated the achievements and efforts of Party Cell III of the School. Comrade Nguyen Van Khanh hopes that the Party Cell must be an exemplary unit in all areas of operation, an advisory unit for other units in political and ideological work, and always proactive in all areas of operation.

The Congress also elected a new Party Cell consisting of 3 comrades: Comrade Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Secretary), Comrade Nguyen Van Hieu (Deputy Secretary) and Comrade Nguyen Van Thuy (Party Cell Member).
