“Teachers and students, please temporarily forget about the world tournaments, the Bundesliga, the La Liga, the Premier League. Let's turn our attention to the USSH Champion League (UCL). This is the best tournament because it belongs to us, because the players are the staff and students of the University.” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh emphasized.
UCL 2015 is an annual football tournament of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. The tournament attracted the participation of 17 teams from 16 Faculties and Departments in the university. The special feature of this year's tournament is the presence of "new recruits", which are male lecturers and staff of the university.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Vice Principal of the School delivered the opening speech of the tournament.
The participation of a football team of the school's headquarters and the image of staff and lecturers in each team has affirmed the growth and development of the sports movement of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. At the same time, this is also a meaningful tournament to unite and create a playground for staff and students of the school.
UCL is an event held to celebrate the 27th Party Congress of the University, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of communication and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the University, towards the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
