“Teachers, lecturers, and students, please temporarily forget about world leagues, the Bundesliga, La Liga, and the Premier League. Let's focus on the USSH Champions League (UCL). This is the best tournament because it belongs to us, and the players are the faculty and students of the University,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh emphasized.
UCL 2015 is the annual football tournament of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The tournament attracted 17 teams from 16 faculties and departments within the university. A special feature of this year's tournament was the participation of "newcomers," namely male lecturers and staff members of the university.

Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh, Vice Rector of the University, delivered the opening speech for the tournament.
The participation of a team from the administrative staff and the image of faculty and staff members in each team affirmed the strength and development of the sports movement at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. At the same time, this tournament also served as a meaningful way to foster camaraderie and create a playground for faculty and students of the university.
UCL is an event organized to celebrate the 27th Party Congress of the University, to commemorate 70 years of tradition and 20 years since the university's founding, and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Comrade Tran Bach Hieu, Secretary of the School's Youth Union, presented commemorative flags to the participating teams.
Following the opening ceremony, two matches took place: one between the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and the Faculty of Psychology; and another between the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management and the Faculty of History.
The final match of the tournament is scheduled to take place on May 17, 2015, at the C500 Stadium of the People's Security Academy.
