The photo exhibition attracted a large number of humanities students.
The exhibition was jointly organized by the Indian Embassy and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the birth of the doctor – the chief architect who drafted the Indian Constitution.
Speaking at the exhibition, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his honor that the university was chosen as the venue. He also emphasized that the university is one of the leading institutions in scientific research nationwide, having trained many outstanding individuals who currently hold important positions in the State apparatus, including General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong – a former student of the Faculty of Literature at the University. Therefore, holding the exhibition at the university is an opportunity for humanities students to have more exposure to Indian culture and politics, creating a foundation for cultural exchange between the two countries.
On behalf of the Indian Embassy, Ms. Nina Tshering La – Acting Representative of the Indian Embassy – extended special thanks to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Thu Ha for their assistance in facilitating the smooth running of the exhibition. She also hoped that this would be an opportunity for humanities students in particular, and students from neighboring universities in general, to learn about the life and career of Dr. Ambedkar – a brilliant social reformer of India.

The delegates took a commemorative photo.
The opening speeches concluded with a candle-lighting ceremony, flower presentations, and commemorative photos between the two parties. In addition, the exhibition featured many other exciting activities such as Indian dance performances and a buffet with incredibly delicious traditional Indian dishes.
