With the desire to support the development of anthropological research in particular and social sciences in Vietnam in general, the Evans Fund of the Faculty of Anthropology, University of Cambridge has decided to sponsor staff and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, access to two leading journals on Anthropology in the UK and the world, includingJournal of the Royal Anthropological Institute (JRAI)andAnthropology Today (AT)in 2020. This grant program is implemented under the auspices of Professor Susan Bayly, Professor of Historical Anthropology, Executive Director of the Evans Fund, and coordinated by Dr. Lam Minh Chau, Department of Anthropology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Born in 1901 with the nameMan,Journal of the Royal Anthropological Societyis one of the oldest anthropological journals in the world, and is considered one of the leading scientific journals of anthropology today.
WithJournal of the Royal Anthropological Society,Anthropology Today Magazineis one of the important academic publications of British and world anthropology, a forum for anthropologists to apply anthropological knowledge to analyze and interpret practical problems of society in general.
Both journals are indexed in ISI and Scopus databases.
The Evans Fund grant program will allow staff and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to access the contents of the two journals for free for the past five years, from 2016 to 2020. The program will end on December 31, 2020.
Access Instructions
To access the two journals, teachers and students need to use any computer connected to the LAN network of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. These computers have been set up so that teachers and students can directly access the content of the two journals without having to log in.
