Based on agreements signed in May 2019, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and the University of Valladolid have quickly and effectively implemented several scientific and training cooperation programs: research on resources and environment, biodiversity, strengthening cooperation in research and training in Spanish language and culture at VNU, developing student exchange programs with funding from the European Union, etc.

In particular, the planned photo exhibition showcasing Vietnam's land, people, and culture was implemented as scheduled. On February 7, 2020, a scientific seminar on the nearly 500-year history of relations between the two nations and the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition about Vietnam attracted a large number of Spanish citizens and members of the Vietnamese diaspora.

A large number of guests and residents of Palencia attended the scientific seminar and the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition about the land, people, and culture of Vietnam on February 7, 2020.

The exhibition is held at the Cultural and Scientific Center of the University of Valladolid, located in the heart of Palencia. It features 100 outstanding photographs focusing on key themes such as natural landscapes, ethnic groups, historical and cultural heritage, daily life, educational activities, and economic activities.
