Giving gifts to students and teachers in mountainous areas

On December 23-24, 2012, the trade union of 5 universities (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Natural Sciences, National Economics University, University of Construction and Hanoi University of Technology) organized a gift giving ceremony for students and teachers with difficult circumstances but still striving to achieve high achievements in studying and working at some schools in Bac Kan province.
On December 23-24, 2012, the trade union of 5 universities (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Natural Sciences, National Economics University, University of Construction and Hanoi University of Technology) organized a gift giving ceremony for students and teachers with difficult circumstances but still striving to achieve high achievements in studying and working at some schools in Bac Kan province.The program is an activity in response to the program "Supporting education in mountainous and remote areas" of the Vietnam Education Trade Union and is also an annual activity of the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in recent years. 600 students and 60 teachers from 8 primary schools, 2 secondary schools, and 2 high schools received gifts this time. The total value of the gifts is more than 150 million VND. This is also an opportunity for teachers from 5 schools to directly meet, exchange, and talk with students. The sympathy and sharing of teachers is the motivation to encourage students and colleagues in mountainous areas to overcome all difficulties to study well and teach well.
