UniReport magazine of the University of Frankfurt (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main), Federal Republic of Germany (issued on October 12, 2012) commented highly on the visit and work of Professor and Principal Nguyen Van Khanh, and at the same time expressed expectations for the prospects of cooperation and training between the two schools in the future.
UniReport magazine of the University of Frankfurt (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main), Federal Republic of Germany (issued on October 12, 2012) commented highly on the visit and work of Professor and Principal Nguyen Van Khanh, and at the same time expressed expectations for the prospects of cooperation and training between the two schools in the future.Previously, during a working trip to Europe in July 2012, Rector Professor Nguyen Van Khanh accepted an invitation to visit and work at Frankfurt University. During the official meeting, Professor Werner Mueller-Esterl (President of Frankfurt University) discussed with Professor Nguyen Van Khanh some possibilities for future cooperation between the two units in terms of organizing scientific seminars, exchanging staff and students, etc. At a professional discussion with Professor Luise Schorn-Schuette (Head of the History Department) and Professor Arndt Graf (Institute of Southeast Asian Studies) of Frankfurt University, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh introduced the Master's and Doctoral training program in Vietnamese History under the Strategic Mission Project, and expressed his hope that experts from Frankfurt University would support the University in successfully implementing the Project. Frankfurt University is one of the educational institutions in Germany that has actively developed relations with Vietnamese educational partners in recent years, especially in promoting the establishment of the Vietnam-Germany University in Vietnam. The cooperative relationship between Frankfurt University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has only been established in the past two years but has achieved promising progress. Currently, Frankfurt University is accepting staff from the University to lecture and participate in research projects on history and international relations. Frankfurt University is currently training 41,000 undergraduate and graduate students in 16 specialized faculties (including more than 6,500 international students). Since its establishment (1914) until now, Frankfurt University has been the place of study and research of 16 Nobel Prize-winning scientists... Currently, Frankfurt University is ranked in the top 10 excellent teaching and research centers in Germany and in the top 200 leading universities in the world according to the Times Higher Education in 2012-2013.
