To equip class, youth union, and student association officers with the necessary skills and expertise, the Political and Student Affairs Department (CT&CTSV) collaborated with the University's Youth Union and Student Association to organize the "Training Conference for Class, Youth Union, and Student Association Officers for the 2012-2013 Academic Year" from December 22nd to 23rd, 2012.Attending the training were Comrade Nguyen Anh Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Youth Union, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu - Head of the Student Affairs Department, Comrade Trinh Minh Thai - Secretary of the University Youth Union, and Comrade Nguyen Thi Mai Lan - President of the University Student Association. Nearly 200 students and Youth Union members participated in the training, including Class/Youth Union/Student Association officials from K56 and K57 cohorts; assistants in Student Affairs from Faculties/Departments; and key Youth Union/Student Association officials from affiliated branches. At the conference, Comrade Nguyen Anh Duong directly briefed the delegates on the Resolution of the 14th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi City and conveyed basic information about the 10th National Congress of the Youth Union. In the afternoon, the delegates listened to the thoughts, experiences, and insights on Class/Youth Union/Student Association work from Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu - Head of the Student Affairs Department. At the same time, delegates also exchanged and shared experiences on managing classes, student unions, and associations in credit-based training. The content was informal and friendly, attracting the attention of many students who are class, student union, and association leaders. In the evening, delegates participated in an exciting and colorful "Cultural Exchange Program," full of the spirit of humanities students. Although prepared only three hours in advance, the performances and games were seamlessly integrated, and the harmonious collaboration of the "pairs" created a cheerful and lively atmosphere, bringing much laughter to the audience. Even more remarkably, the program was entirely prepared by the class, student union, and association leaders, who are students from cohorts K56 and K57. The cultural exchange event concluded with a vibrant bonfire gathering, brimming with the enthusiasm and energy of youth. Despite the 10°C night in Ba Vi, the atmosphere was still buzzing with a spirit of unity and openness. Circles of people ran around the bonfire, creating an overflowing space filled with the spirit and passion of youth.
