On November 20, 2014, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a meeting to visit, encourage, and present gifts to faculty and staff members of the University who unfortunately suffered from serious illnesses.

In 2013, the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities launched the establishment of a fund to support staff and faculty, abbreviated as the Humanities Fund, with the aim of assisting staff and faculty members with difficult family circumstances or serious illnesses. To date, the FundWe have provided assistance to over 10 cases.

Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University) stated that two outstanding values ​​of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have been maintained since its establishment: the spirit of meticulous scientific research and the humane and sharing approach among staff and students within the University. With this spirit, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the University's Trade Union have carried out many activities demonstrating their concern and support for staff and faculty members facing difficulties, thereby encouraging them to overcome mental and material pressures to continue living happily and contributing.

The Vice Principal also emphasized the efforts to overcome illness and their continued active contributions to group activities.The teachers and lecturers serve as role models for many to follow, contributing to the positive values ​​in the culture and lifestyle of the staff at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
