Some people have been with the Faculty since the beginning when it was still a Vietnamese language group in 1959 such as Associate Professor, Dr. Do Thanh, and some like Ms. Nguyen Thi Mien, who is 86 years old this year, was the treasurer when the Faculty was still a relatively independent unit that both taught and supported international students. Representatives of Vietnamese and international students studying at the Faculty were also present from early morning, making the meeting and exchange even warmer and more meaningful.
