2014 Faculty and Student Singing Contest

Seventeen groups participated with 48 performances, including 9 solo performances, 4 duets, 6 trios, and 29 group and choral performances.

Overall, the performances by the participating units were quite elaborate and well-prepared, closely adhering to the competition's theme. Each unit presented performances with their own unique characteristics. The judging panel evaluated the entries based on criteria such as: adherence to the competition's theme, vocals, staging, costumes, and group participation.

Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, Vice President of the University's Trade Union) said: "I have participated as a judge in many arts competitions of various units in Hanoi and I have noticed that the arts festivals of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are always different. They have a fresh feel, but also a profound and moving depth in the performances and staging. It must be said that the teachers and students of the University are very talented and creative. They are amateur artists but they sing with all their heart and emotion."
