2014 Staff and Student Singing Contest

There are 17 participating units with 48 performances, including 9 solo performances, 4 duets, 6 trio performances and 29 groups and choirs.

According to the general assessment, the performances of the units were invested quite elaborately, thoughtfully, closely following the theme of the contest. Each unit brought performances with their own identity. The judges judged based on the criteria: the performances must closely follow the theme of the contest, singing voice, staging, costumes, participation of the group...

Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, Vice Chairman of the School's Trade Union) said: I have been a judge for many art competitions of units in Hanoi and have found that the art performances of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are always different. There is freshness, but also depth in the performances and arrangements. It must be said that the teachers and students of the School are very talented and creative. They are amateur artists but sing with all their heart and soul.
